Language Arts
Monday: Students will be working on Singular Nouns (Person, Place or Thing). Students will learn to identify Singular and Non Singular Nouns. WS
Tuesday: Students will be working on Singular Nouns (Person, Place or Thing). Students will learn to identify Singular and Non Singular Nouns. WS
Wednesday: Students will be working on Common Nouns (Names a Person, Place or Thing). Students will identify the Common Nouns in the sentences given to them by filling in the circle below each common noun. WS.
Thursday: Students will be working on Proper Nouns (Names a special person, place or thing and always begins with a capital letter). WS.
Friday: Students will be tested on Singular, Plural, Common and Proper Nouns.
Math
Monday: Students will continue reviewing and identifying coins, dollar bills and their value. Students will count coins and dollar bills together. WS #1
Our Goal is to have them be able to count pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar bills throughout the week.

Thursday: Students will continue reviewing and identifying coins, dollar bills and their value. Students will count coins and dollar bills together. They will be working with fake money today and will be role playing as if they are in a market buying goods and products. WS.

Friday: Students will be tested on Coins and the Dollar. Students will have to add mixed Coins (Quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies) and Dollar Bills together. They will need to write the correct money symbol ( $ or cents ) with their answer.
Reading/Literature
Monday: Students will be working on Reading Comprehension and answering questions. They will have class discussion on the story read. P.130, Morning Glories (Morning Glory Flowers).
Tuesday: Students will be working on Reading Comprehension and answering questions. They will have class discussion on the story read. P. 131, Following Directions: How Plants Get Food. They will also be doing a small class project to understand hands on; how plants get food. Supplies we will be using: a clear cup, water, celery and red food coloring.
Wednesday: Students will be working on Reading Comprehension and answering questions. They will have class discussion on the story read. P. 132, Making Inferences: Fig Marigolds (Flowers).
Thursday: Students will be working on Reading Comprehension and answering questions. They will have class discussion on the story read. P. 133, Main Idea: Unusual Plants.
Friday: Students will be tested on Reading Comprehension. They will read a story and answer the questions.
Spelling:
Monday: Students will be working on spelling words from their own individualized Fry Sight words sheet. They will review reading the words and practice writing the words correctly. (Continued: 201-300).
HW- Students will practice by writing the spelling words given 10x each. Students will submit them in the morning tomorrow.
